This might work for camping but I planned to use as extra guest bed. However, it wasn’t very comfortable.

I needed some emergency bedding for extra guests so I ordered two of these cots. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to set up and how comfortable it is to sleep on. I didn't add any padding to the mattress aside from what it came with but it was so comfortable we leave one set up in the basement and my husband naps on it all the time. Very sturdy for tall and heavy people.

Used it fairly lightly (haven't even taken it to camp yet) for two weeks as a temporary bed and started to fall apart already. A part to one of the folding leg mechanism broke when I tried to fold it. The mat material also ripped on a light tug from trying to fold it. The cushion mat's threads already started unravelling from multiple points. Garbage.

Overall it is a good cot. My rating is a 3 because of it being advertised as for adults but it's on the narrow side and the pad is more like a quilted blanket. Luckily I have extra camp blankets so it wasn't a problem. It needs straps to either cinch the pad tight to the cot so it can be folded up with it.
