I have very few brand loyalties, but Smartwool is one. I tried these on right away, the medium size for my 8 1/2 size foot, and they seemed a half-size too big. I washed and dried them on hot, and they are perfect. Sweaty feet? Get Smartwool! That was my biggest issue, living at 10,000 feet plus, that my feet would sweat and then get super cold from the moisture. These socks change everything. Warmth without sweat!
