This aluminum multi cavity soft plastic lure mold that produces three 6in high quality soft baits.
Our molds for casting are manufactured on high-precision CNC machine using 3D models. Each best_nj molds is quality controlled.
Making a lure with injection mold will require some level of trial and error from you, as each lure is different. Using of different types and grades of plastisol will require changes in the mold procedure, taking into account the characteristics of each type of plastisol. Experiment with plastisol temperature, injection pressure and holding time to find the optimal forming parameters. For good spillage heat mold to 100-120° F. More detailed instructions are included with the mold.
Using only one lure mold and different additives you can make a soft plastic lure kit such as ice fishing lures, saltwater lures, freshwater lures, bass lures, etc.

This is a great way to recycle your old lures, you can melt down old plastics and refresh your stash! These are decent worms whether for whacky rigs or otherwise this is an excellent mold. Easy to use, solid, and great product.

I have to say, after using a few different molds from these folks and using the metal vs the polymer molds. I just really like how these function. The machining is great for the price. The worms that come out are clean and well defined if you did your job right with clamping the mold and making a good pour. I've gotten my formulation right and instead of going through a bag of worms in an outing like with some major brands, the only time I'm changing a worm is if I want a different color, size, or profile. They can last much longer, so yes, it is worth it.I have to say I do find it more fulfilling too, fishing with your own worms. I have to say i've really come to enjoy and trust NJ Best molds. I'd give them a try if you think you want to get into this hobby.

This is another great bait mold from Best nJ. The baits come out nice and clean. the only thing I'll point out about this mold is that only the top half of the mold has the worm texture. The fish won't care but I would have preferred to have the whole mold textured.

I make all my own plastic lures and I have a lot of best_nj's molds... both aluminum and stone. I used a dual-injector to shot this bait and it came out great. There was no flashing, it filled in completely, and the size of the worms are perfect. One thing I love is that it is a three cavity mold as opposed to others that only have two.All-in-all, this is another great mold by a guy that has been around for years making molds and injectors.
