Very convenient setup and easy to use! You can run the light string out and still use the main housing for lights that it still has to shine down or leave the string of lights inside it for more light output from a focused area. Solar charging too! This lantern also allows you to charge other devices from it. If you're concerned about lack of sunshine you can also charge this via cable ahead of time. It's easy to wind the lights back up by rotating the top half and the end of the line has a plastic piece attached for ease of stringing them across an area. The remote makes it easier for light selection and this also has a distress signal with red lights function. I'm real happy with how this can so conveniently light up a camping area and how easy and versatile it really is! Great idea!

My kids love these reel light sets. I haven't seen one with a solar panel, so I had to try. It's a nice product, seems well made. The lights reel up easily every time, and are pretty long when extended. These are always decorating a room at home even when we're not camping.

The lights aren't super bring and I got them for a 10ft canopy and they didn't go completely all the way around, was short about a foot. But I used some carabiner clips to hold them up and they worked well still, just wished they could go a tad brighter but they are bright enough especially on a beach when you are camping they aren't overly bright and annoying and look great at night. Batteries lasted my whole 3 day trip powering these about an hour each day.

Okay, it's still just a light but among lights this is super versatile. You can charge it through usb-c or solar and it also has a usb-A port so you can charge other devices from its battery (which means this can be a really terrible emergency phone charger in a pinch). It has a handle to hang it from or to hold onto and there are many lighting options. There's a large number of LEDs on the body to use it as a standard lamp or you can roll out a long string of lights. An awesome item.

I love these types of camping gadgets. Very useful and multipurpose. The addition of the solar charging is a great feature. The entire unit is compact. I appreciate the very lengthy 40' length of wire. This makes the camp site feel much more like home at night, especially in the middle of the woods when it is pitch black. The remote is a bonus but kind of gimmicky.

This is a really nice clever little unit. It makes a great general light or lamp, and with the built-in LED strip that you just pull out as much as you need, makes a great string light. Lots of versatility with the lights and flashing and colors, and the remote control works real nice too. When you're done, just reel it in. The solar panel is fantastic for charging it during the day, so you never really have to worry about plugging it in to charge it. Price is very reasonable. I would recommend it, and give it five stars.

I got this solar camp light so that I could have something for my grandlittles to use at night when they get up to use the bathroom while camping. The string is long and coils up into the light using a plastic tab that snaps into the top of the light. The buttons on the top cycle through different light options. The light can be used alone without the strings and also has an SOS red blinking light function. It's pretty bright, and lasts all night after a full day of sun. It has a usb charging option too, in case of cloudy days. I feel like this would be a good light to keep in an emergency box in the car while traveling, too. There are a lot of lights like this available, so price could be a bit lower imo.

These lights work great for the campsite. They had just enough flight to light up your area, but are not too bright to be annoying. The solar function works great. They don’t need a lot of time in the sun to charge up and last for hours after they are charged up. They can also be recharged by USB, which is nice if you forget to put them out in the sun. It’s nice that you can wind them back up easily and for storage. They are a great size for what they are. Nice little lights. Easy to hang up and take down.
