We bought these for the solar eclipse that occurred last summer. They did what they were supposed to do. I also cut one and put it over my iPhone lens so as not to damage the camera.I'll update the review on May 1, 2079 when the next total eclipse is in my area...

Awesome glasses for the cliff will never forget the family and I were outside in the backyard. Just watching this clip that happens every hundred years thank you again we didn’t miss it.

Works very well for the solar eclipse, grabbed this and arrived quickly. Gives great visibility and protection for your eyes. For paper glasses they are decently durable, and was able to watch the solar eclipse with ease without worrying about ruining my vision. Family enjoyed the whole show! And works perfect if you use it against your phones camera to take pictures of the eclipse!!

I ordered these the other day and hadn't read any reviews prior to receiving them. I heard that some weren't of the standards necessary to view the eclipse. So I looked at the 5 star reviews....there are alot of them! Then I read the 1 star reviews...EGAD you'd think there were a bunch of NUTJOBS looking for any reason to give a bad review. From someone saying they are made in China to others saying they don't fit. I'm a grown man and they fit just fine! One review stated she looked at the sun and it was uncomfortable! Guess what they are for looking at the DAMN ECLIPSE! Not to look at the FULL sun directly! I think they will work just fine. I live in a total eclipse path in Tx... Too bad it will be cloudy tomorrow and we won't get a great view of the eclipse. But I will still wear them when I am viewing this once in a lifetime event.

Where I live the eclipse was about 93%. I tucked a pair of the glasses in a shirt pocket and mowed grass with a riding lawn mower. I stopped numerous times and donned the glasses - even after putting them on and returning them to my shirt pocket, at the end of the day, you could not tell they had been used. I ordered 10 pairs, in case someone around me needed some. I will keep them around since there are other times I like to look toward the sun. I actually enjoyed watching clouds pass between the earth and the sun with the glasses - some lovely configurations and effects. Oh, and these glasses were exactly what NASA recommended, so I felt safe in using them.
