This 2-pack set of Solid Brass Garden Hose Ends with Clamps is a great repair kit.Easy to install, but the tails of the hose clamps can stick out and may cut if you are not careful.I taped them down to reduce the risk. There are better closure clamps out there.This kit does work well, and they it even comes with hose washers for a tight finish.

These are a must. I have five acres and water a 200 foot diameter of it with various trees and plants. I have two 100 foot hoses connected together and pull it around to water. Recently while pulling the water stopped and as I followed the hose I saw the end of the hose broke off. Ugh! This isn’t the first time. This is a life savor and isn’t hard to install. It saves you from buying a new hose. I’ve also mowed several hoses and cut them down the middle. Ugh! Again you can make new hoses with this.

I love these heavy-duty hose connectors. These are sturdy and made of brass. I'll never bother with the plastic ones again because they always seem to start leaking. These will fit either a 5/8 inch or a 3/4 inch garden hose. You may have a little trouble pushing it into the hose. Try some hot water or a little liquid soap. Once you get it connected, the clamps hold it tight. Added to that, it includes some Teflon tape ! Wrap some of the tape around the threads (clockwise, so it doesn't unwrap) and it shouldn't leak. I've been using this for over a week now and have not had any problems.

These hose repair connectors are nice solid brass but are held on with a simple hose clamp. The clamp works well, but it’s not pretty and tends to snag on things. Only a problem if its on the end you handle a lot.

I used these to repair a couple of garden hoses that had been damaged. I really like being able to fix things rather than throwing them away and buying a new one. This item is easy to use and functions well. Only a few basic tools are needed to easily fix your hose, and you could probably get away with less if you are resourceful. I used a box cutter to a clean straight end in the hose, a pair of slip-joint pliers to help me jam the hose barb part into the hose (depending on how tight the fit is you may not need this), and a screwdriver to tighten the hose clamp. Easy peasy.

These were absolutely fantastic! They’re very heavy duty and made of solid brass. Definitely better than many of the others out there and a good deal for what you get.I had to drain my hot water heater and in doing so, needed a short section of hose so that I could drain the water into my sump pump. My only option was to cut 5 feet off of my long 50 foot hose. I hated to do it, but I was in a bind.This set of repair connectors comes with everything you need, even the Teflon tape! You have two female ends, four different hose clamps, two of each size, and the Teflon tape to prevent any leaks. These are super easy to install, taking me only five minutes to repair my hose. It was a bit of a struggle to get the barbed end into my hose, but you want it to be a tight fit. It would’ve been easier had I gotten the barbed end wet and put a little dish soap on it, but I’ve learned from past experiences and an $850 water bill, apply some good adhesive caulk to the end of the barb to prevent the hose from shooting off in the hot summer sun. I’ve had one of these repair kits come flying off after the hose heated up really warm in the summer sun. It was an expensive lesson to not take the hose clamps for granted. So I used to caulk instead of soapy water which made it a bit difficult to slide the end into the hose. When I was done, I put the hose clamp on as tight as I could, applied to Teflon tape to my hose bib and boom, it was done! No leaks, great water pressure and everything worked as if it were new again. Possibly better than new. Definitely a quality product and something that is nice just to have around for when you need it.
