We got this so my husband can listen to television with wireless earbuds.This connected easily to the headphone jack on the Virgin Tivo box. It took him only a matter of seconds to plug this in and connect his earbuds.We do have a similar device but the older one does not have a volume control and does reduce the sound quality. My husband says the sound quality is excellent and he loves being able to adjust the volume to suit his hearing...or lack therof .My husband is nearly deaf in one ear due to his time in the army. So he often listens to television at a volume therest of us find deafening. This means he can enjoy his programmes at a volume he finds comfortable, and block out much of the other household sounds. It also means we dont have hear the TV blasting.The entire family gives this five stars, and I am sure even the dogs woukd agree if they could.

Bought these so that I can use my better quality noise cancelling ear phones on flight instead of supplied headphones.I've been using this transmitter / receiver on a number of items such as tablet and they were work well, sound quality is good, bluetooth 5.3 is working well.These are better than other similar items as they have a screen, so it can show you what it's doing, how much battery life is left.It charges over usb c, and ca be left plugged in to charge while in use.The individual volume is a nice feature so you can control the volume in that way.Seems solid and well built, good quality packaging and instructions.

The device is slightly larger than a 50 pence piece, so an ideal size for travel. Setup for receiving from an iPhone to an analog amplifier worked perfectly first time. I also tried it in receiver mode to transmit from a guitar effects output (iRig). However, the latency on the connection meant that it was unworkable. This will definitely be in my bag on my next flight. Nice carrying pouch with a charge cable included.

I was impressed with the overall quality of the transmitted. The small OLED display is really useful in letting you know what it's doing, especially when you are trying to pair something with it. It is really easy to use with a single slider switch to toggle between transmit and receive. Its power my an internal rechargeable battery and overall its a very compact device. I used the dongle to add bluetooth connectivity to an old stereo system which previous could only accepted wired headphones. It worked without any issues and the audio quality through the headphone was really good. Overall, a good transmitter/ receiver which overall looks a bit premium.

I’m using this primarily to transmit audio from my TV to my Bluetooth headphones, and I’ve been genuinely impressed with its performance.Setup was refreshingly simple. It comes with a paper manual and a handy quick start card to quickly get you up and running. Within a couple of minutes I had it plugged in via the 3.5mm jack, powered on, and connected to my headphones. There were no confusing steps or frustrating pairing issues - just a straightforward, smooth process.One standout feature is the LCD screen. It clearly displays the names of nearby Bluetooth devices, which takes the guesswork out of pairing. Being able to actually see which device I’m connecting to is a small but incredibly helpful detail that makes a big difference.Once connected, the signal is strong and stable. There’s no noticeable lag or dropouts, even when I move around the room. The connection is fast and reliable every time I power it on - it remembers my headphones and reconnects almost instantly.Overall, this is a great addition to my home setup. It’s a compact, dependable device that does exactly what it promises, with no hassle. If you’re looking for an easy way to add Bluetooth functionality to a non-Bluetooth TV or audio source, I highly recommend the SOOMFON. It just works and really well.
