Feels like it blows a true 1600CFM. I didn’t think it was that loud over a 1959 261 engine, personally.

works well and very powerful but just remember before purchase this fan is Loud..if sat up to cycle on and off its not to bad..and on a Hot Rod, Street Rod it should be just find as well.

If you don't mind the noise, the fan does push a good amount of air and the low profile makes it easy to fit in tight spaces. I ended up returning this item because it was way too loud. I may have to do the same with the fan I bought to replace this one. It's hard to find a low profile fan that pushes a good amount of air and is quiet.Since I'm installing this in a lincoln, you can hear the fan from inside the cabin. For a truck or sports car I suppose this is acceptable, but in my opinion not for a luxury vehicle.

Would have preferred one with more CFM but did not have the depth required for the motor. This was the best I could find.
