Very sturdy, took cold butter and cut into flour for scones very well. Good size handle, grip and size for my baking. Looks like it will be around for awhile if it continues to handle the mixing as great as it as been. Sorry I got 2 as I wasn't sure how sturdy it would be (like old one, which worked good but blades bent when being used), this one doesn't bend easily at all. While flat on bottom like old one it replaced, it is sharper and can cut you while cleaning dough off or cleaning up so be careful!
