First off and most importantly DO NOT LOSE the Instruction Manual!! It’s only a couple of pages but you will need it!In my opinion, this is NOT your normal residential party light! This thing is heavy duty and to be honest-a little intimidating! There are ten listed precautions in the manual. The manual says to install in a well ventilated area and to keep at least 50 cm (appx 1ft 8 inches) from people. It should not be used in temps over 113 degrees F and #10 is a precaution that begins with “Please have professionals install the device”.It was my intention to use it sitting on the floor, but I actually think it’s too powerful for use in my 2800 square foot home! I plugged it in and WOW! It lit up my entire downstairs!!! It is super bright!! The output fully exceeds what I was expecting! It would be ideal used in a large event hall or actual venue area.I considered using it for Halloween, but #2 under precautions indicates that it should be “kept away from rain and moisture”. The month of October can get pretty wet and foggy here in CA.It comes with a stand that is extremely easy to screw on, but the back of the light can be confusing without referring to the manual.Overall, this is a nice, quality, heavy duty light. Giving 4 stars because personally this may be a little too complex and powerful for me. I am going to have to figure out where I can use it because it’s actually really cool!!!
