These are good metal trivets. They raise up the pot or pan from the surface and are very easy to clean if you get anything on them. They are functional and easy to store with my other pots and pans. They do have spaces, so if you are putting it on a plastic surface, it could still burn your plastic (just a warning) My pot was especially hot and I probably should have waited just a few minutes for it to cool down a little.I take that for my fault. This seems like a great value for the money and I would definitely recommend it!

This is a nice set of stainless steel trivets. They’re lightweight yet very strong, easily supporting the heavy pots of soup I place on them. I also like the good clearance, which keeps the heat from getting too close to my glass tabletop. The polished bars with rounded ends give them a clean, modern look. Overall, I'm very happy with this set.

Just put them on countertop and easy to put hot pans or pots! So convenient. Also seems quite stylish since the stainless and metal materials are in trend!

Overall these are very nice high quality, attractive stainless steel trivets. As each trivet has a silicone base, it will protect your table surface from scratches. It works well for different size pots and pans, as well as plates and bowls. I used it once for a dutch oven full of stew, and the trivet held up despite the weight. I was quite impressed. I deducted one star because the grids created by the strips of steel are too wide. So what happens is if your bowl has a small base, it has to be set perfectly between two grids, otherwise, it will fall between the space and your bowl will be lopsided. Yes, I know, these trivets are designed primarily for pots and pans, but I also like to use trivets for regular dinner plates and bowls rather than place mats. For the latter, you need to make sure the base of the plate/bowl sits evenly between the grids. Otherwise, a high quality brushed stainless steel trivet set that is sure to last for a very long time. A tad overpriced but I can understand the justification due to the stainless steel.

These cooling racks are extremely light, akin to metal coated plastic. They do have some metal in them (a magnet will attach to them) and I'm guessing the lightness is (mostly) due to the rods being hollow (per the picture on the amazon web page). The feet are hard plastic so they aren't going to be non-slip like, say, silicone feet. Having said that, once I apply a bit of weight to them they do not slide on my granite counter tops.Three of the four racks I received have a slight wobble to them when sitting bare on the counter however, once I sit an object on them the wobble is not noticeable.I've used them a few times with hot dishes (glass casserole dish with brownies; roasting pan full of vegetables and chicken thighs; instant pot stainless steel pot full of HOT bean soup) and haven't noticed any heat related issues or damage ... so far so good ...

We work so hard trying to choose the perfect decor, tile, granite, etc… Why not also have something stylish to sit your hot pots and plates on? Yes, I’m speaking to you.. You can save the potholders you’ve had since your first college apartment for getting items out of the oven. These won’t scratch your countertops & offer the heat protection that you need. They are lightweight so easy to move & for a pack of 4 they aren’t a bad value.Would order again.

They feel and look of the cheap, metal coated plastic you get for cooking utensils at box stores. The weight is consistent with it too. They work but the bars are slightly bent to where you get a wobble.Because it's basically metal-coated plastic, and there's a wobble on all 4 received, I would not trust to put anything hot on these. I'm sure they would melt and splash me from the pot wobbling on it.Not worth any price

These are ok, they will work as trivets. In real life they are not the most attractive but they do work so far. They stainless steel doesn't seem particularly heavy weight so I'm thinking it is a very thin metal. I do appreciate the rubber feet which will prevent scratching the surface or sliding around.
