this says its compatable with my cub cadet xt1 22 hp kohler 725, it caused me nothing but problems with hard starting come to find out this starter is not compatible, it has a 10 tooth bendex and mine needs a 9 tooth high tork starter to crank over the motor, so make sure you count the teeth on your old starter before ordering

For the last 4 years I was buying a new battery for my cub cadet. Finally a new battery wouldn't roll the engine over. Bought this starter and its like a new mower (almost). The new starter works great and it arrived on time. Installed without a problem.
