Hi, purchase this to replace on a screen door that still uses this kind of a spring. It fits perfectly and it was incredibly easy to install. The only issue is that it is not stainless, steal, and as such it will begin to rust out over a few months but they’re expensive enough that you just replace them every few months if you’re worried about the aesthetic. As far as they use no issue, it works great.
