Had to cut out my old welded exhaust, because I don't have access to a lift. Looks and sounds great on my 2010 5.3L. However, the instructions do make mention of a phantom factory hanger on the frame to attach the muffler to with an insulator. Even just utilizing the other two hangers, I believe it's supported enough to prevent and problems just make sure you bolt down tight, and revisit it to tighten up again after 50 to 100 miles of easy driving. Highly recommended.

this modle is not the loudest but will give you that deep resinating thump, this is why i chose magna flow in the first place, dont get me wrong if you open it up peaple in the next town will hear you.Update after the first winter it has completely rusted cheap cheap cheap

This exhaust was pretty easy to install. Took approx. 1 hour with 2 people. The old exhaust had to be cut off. The magnaflow looks great and the sound was awesome at first. Riding in the truck, you will certainly notice a huge difference in noise. There is now a constant droning rumble inside the cab at all speeds (slightly worse on the highway). I have had it for about 4 days now and haven't gotten used to the noise yet, but hopefully will eventually. Overall, I am happy with it.
