They come with rubber tread covers to provide bare footed comfort. Multiple attachment methods are included for convenience. Use either a small hook and extrusion for a positive attachment or the larger hook so no fascia board needs to be drilled. These bunk ladders can be trimmed for access to shorter bunks.

This is perfect for our homemade desk/bed. And since the bedroom is small, it's easy to remove the ladder for accessibility in the bedroom during the day, and easy to attach to climb up for bed. Lightweight and perfect fit. Perfect for our needs.

We created a storage space above our basement stairs, and needed a very small ladder that could hook into the base of the storage space. It sits perfectly on the top step, and hooks in with sturdy metal hangers. My husband put in a hook on the wall where it stores conveniently when not in use.

Fit perfect in our trailer once the legs were trimmed, but I knew I would be doing that. Just as described.

We are very happy with the bunk ladder. It had two install options which we loved and it was so easy to cut the length to get the perfect fit. Our RV didn't come with a bunk ladder as we purchased it used so getting to the top was always a hassle of lifting up the kids. Then we tried a short step ladder but it always got in the way of closing the bathroom door and it was in the way of getting in the bottom bunk. I am happy to say that all the problems are now solved. The steps have nice padding for bare feet, it fits the space nicely and no more complaints. So happy we found this ladder!

Firstly, keep in mind this is an RV ladder - it's aluminum. It's not going to FEEL sturdy. BUT, at an appropriate angle, it is sturdy and works well for youngsters to get on/off their bunk.Thinking in terms of angles as someone who is NOT a mathematician, I originally had the ladder somewhere around a 50 degree angle. It seemed wobbly and had "give" at the center of the ladder. I pulled off the rubber stoppers and sawed 4" off. Now the ladder is at more of a 70-80 degree angle, and is much more secure with no more "give" or wobble. JUST enough of an angle to allow toddlers to feel comfortable ascending/descending.I'm willing to bet the reviewers who say this ladder is flimsy, etc made my same initial error. Bring the ladder to a more upright position with less lean, and it will feel much more secure.

Thanks for reading, buyer beware.I got this ladder for my son. I would not even let my tiny 11 year old stand on this, it might bend.WAY shaky, no way this can support weight. Like, not even close:It is not square. 1 rung is way higher and crooked. The screws are mismatched, not the same screws. The chrome part is scratched to hell, this was obviously a damaged return that someone repackaged. You know when you are tired of something that is somewhat still useful and you put it on the curb, and someone else comes along and decides to take it? Well, that is this ladder. It is really garbage but SOMEONE would have come by and took it.Folks, seriously, this is not the ladder you want.

We purchased these for use with the raised bunkbeds at ASU. Unfortunately the larger 2inch(2) hook connector was not long enough to work with the bed rails on the bunks at ASU. We had to purchase a couple of larger "L" brackets and attache those to the bolts on the top of the ladder where the standard hook connectors go. The L brackets don't look nearly as nice as the included hooks but they work well and are not obvious enough to be an eyesore.

I bought this ladder for an RV bunkbed. It was entirely too long (had to cut 12-14 inches off the bottom) but that was easy enough to do. BUT: there was no way to cut some off the botttom and some off the top: all the cutting had to come off the bottom because of the clips on the top. This made the bottom step very close to the floor (and useless) and the last step from the top a big distance to the top bunk. Minor and I"m sure no one else notices but me. Secondly, I wish it had a simple hook at the top instead of (or in additon to) the clip setup it came with but again it's minor. Would recommend this ladder to someone else and would purchase again. Overall pretty pleased with it. Seems sturdy for the kids and easy to install.

I ordered the 60 inch ladder, and received the 66 inch. I am so glad. It was easy to adjust to the perfect length in minutes with a hacksaw and the 60 inch would not have been exactly right. It is sturdy, the step separation is not too far apart, the rubber pads on the rungs are nice on bare feet, and this 66 y/o grandma has no problem getting up and down from that upper bunk. Don't hesitate on this one, the price is excellent.
