Good solid piece of equipment for my son. He plays a lot of lacrosse (3-4 games a week) and he is very precise about his equipment. He specifically asked for this model after borrowing and using half a dozen different chest protectors. He feels it fits and stays with his body better than the alternative models by STX and other manufacturers. It's well constructed and i expect to pass it down in excellent condition after he outgrows it.

I bought this and it works wonderfully. Has great protection and would work great for male players as well. My only complaint is that it rides up a bit. Such as when moving around which I mean as a goalie you should be doing...it sort of rides its way up your neck and sort of gets caught up in your neck guard. I had to find the right angle so that when it does this, it actually just gives me more protection than chocking me out. Other than it actually is a great chest protector and i would recommend to anyone.
