Installation Step
- Use M8 Conical Washer Bolts to install the mounting bracket to the step, tighten them by 12 mm socket.
- Screw one M10 Bolt in the loft top hole into the frame for the mounting bracket about half way.The bracket has a slot to fit the screw through.
- Slide the mounting bracket up onto the frame.Make sure the tab on the frame mount slips into the frame.
- Insert one M10 Bolt into the left bottom,do not fully tighten this bolt. Final tightening is in a later step.
- Carefully deploy the linkage by pulling down on the lower mount.insert one MI0 Bolt into right top side hole and tighten it by 14mm wrench.
- Tighten left top Bolt by 14mm wrench.
- Stow the linkage by pushing up on the lower mount. Tighten left bottom bolt by 14mm wrench(Provided by package)
- Verify that all of the screws are tight and that the step when retracted is not rubbing anywhere.
NOTE
- When opening the package, please check the box carefully to see if all the parts are packed in the box.
- Check the mounting bolts frequently for security, re-tighten it if necessary.
- A process that must be carefully observed in order to reduce the risk of damage to the accessory/vehicle and to ensure a quality installation.
- Please be careful when handling as the elastic force is high to avoid injury.
