I am VERY impressed with the attention to detail they gave to packing this in it's branded box. There are even delicate layers of foam sheeting between each of the pieces so they do not clang against each other in transport. I am OBSESSED with clear glassware, maybe it's from my time working in a veterinary lab but this is gorgeous, thin glass but not flimsy. All the pieces mate beautifully, the handle is sturdy, and you can use the lid on the cup after the infusion chamber is removed. Of course if you're hand washing do it with care, I put a wash rag in the bottom of the sink to help cushion it. I do NOT let the husband touch it. I got it because I dry seasonal flowers and herbs to use in custom tea blends and it's so pleasant to watch the tea infuse with the hot water. An enjoyable piece for my collection.

This glass tea mug with infuser works well if you use large tea leaves, smaller leaves can fall through the cracks. Wish it was doubled walled, as the glass gets hot. Like that it has a lid, cleans well in the dishwasher.

I really love the design of this tea cup. It has a separate insert to steep your loose tea in but I still use a bag. Very easy to use and looks great too. Would recommend.

Whenever I wash the tea infuser in the sink, I have to be careful or it might shatter. It also gets hot, so be careful with your fingers on the glass. It infuses the tea and does the job. Doesn't work with smaller tea leaves like chai tea.

It's not a super thick glass so it feels like you have to be very careful with the wash and care of this tea infuser. But it works great and is very stylish.

Generally, this is a good infuser mug. It has straight lines and is easy to clean. The infuser cup is also easy to clean. The lid fits fairly well. There is a little movement it in, but not a significant amount. The lid fits equally the same in both the infuser and the mug.It would be really nice if this were double-walled, but it is not advertised as such, so I can't take a mark off for that.First issue is the max volume. They state it is 16 oz. I fill the mug to the brim and have 1 2/3 cups, just under 14 oz. If you want to use the infuser, then you have even less room. So, figure an easy 1 1/2 cups, or 12 oz.Second is the size of the slits in the infuser. I know you cannot use this for teas that are cut up fairly small. I figured it should be okay for a good long jing dragon well loose leaf tea. There were a couple small pieces that got into the drink for the first steep. No big deal. The second steep had more pieces in it. I guess the tea starts breaking down as it goes through each successive steep.This is sturdy, I had no worries about it breaking easily and no concerns with putting it in the dishwasher.Overall, this does a fairly good job and the price makes it a decent deal. Plan on steeping,at max, 1 1/2 cups of tea at one time.
