THE CIMPLE CO, a family company located in the USA, is proud to offer these solid and long-lasting coaxial screw-on/twist-on type connectors, also known as coax fittings. F81 connectors use the F-pin connection (standard on US cable systems). Rated from 2MHz-3GHz, this ensures that the coupler will handle all of the signals for satellite and CATV, as well as antennas, VCRs, cable internet modems, and other digital and analog systems. These will pass signal for 75-ohm coax wires. The connector works with most RG6 coax, including dual shield, tri shield, and quad shield. Strong return loss and insertion loss specifications. Shielding effectiveness is greater than -90dB. We back our product 100%, with easy returns, as well as free technical and customer support.

Only had one end i need a cap on and didn't want to purchase a crimper tool. Was not easy to get it to work but eventually I got it to fit. If i had to do it again id buy the tool to do it the right way

I wouldn't say they're too easy to install, but if you only need to do a few rather than spending money on tools you may never use again this worked for me. Found that after prepping the cable end it helped to reduce the circumference of the end a little for the first mm or two by shaving some of the black insulation down a a bit with blade to allow for getting the connector started. After that I couldn't really twist it on without using pliers, but that worked fine and the second one was much easier.

I used to be a TV cable installer decades ago. The F fittings at that time were two parts - the F fitting and a collar that you crimped with pliers to hold it to the cable. These fittings are a different design. One piece only, so no fiddly little separate collar which always got dropped or broke during the crimping process.Instead, these one-piece fittings screw on to the end of the cable. It takes a little muscle to get them to screw all the way into the cable. I used a stout pair of lineman’s pliers to ease the process. These fittings look great, work great, and do the job.You still have to prep the end of the CATV cable. First, use a knife to carefully cut the outer jacket down to the wire mesh layer, twist the outer jacket and pull it off. Then peel the wire mesh back down over the cable. Next use the knife to carefully cut the foil wrapped center insulation about 3/16” above the primary cut. Twist this bit of insulation off, leaving the bare center wire. Next, screw the F fitting over the cable and peeled back wire mesh. You want the center insulation to slide up into the thin hole in the fitting, and stop just about where the wide hole starts. You also want a bit of the center wire to protrude about 1/8” past the edge of the fitting. I generally just eyeball the dimensions - but you may need to practice a couple of times to get it right.

That said, you need to match the right cable diameter. They work great on my cables.
