Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free ProductI needed some last-minute ski socks for a trip that just came up. These are thick, firm, and warm, with additional support around the heel and other important areas.However, note that they are quite long. I’m not used to wearing ski socks that come up to my knees, but that does make them warmer in the cold of winter.

I ordered the Blue-Gray socks in a size Large as per the Sizing Instructions. I wear a size 9 ½-10 shoe size which according to the sizing chart the size Large is the correct size. But, beware, the Large size, is way too large, by about an inch. So, if your shoe size is around my size then please order the Medium size regardless of what the instructions indicate. Other than the socks being way too big for me to wear, they are great looking socks. I gave them to my son, who wears a 12 shoe size, and while they are a little tight on him, they fit him well enough so that he is wearing them. He hasn’t gone skiing yet but feels that they should hold up well wearing them with ski boots. He washed them twice, machine washed and machine dried, and they held up well. No shrinkage, (unfortunately for me)!! Additionally, the anti-slip silicone held up well. The socks stay up no problem and are great looking, at least the Blue-Gray ones are! I removed one star for the misleading size information; however, I believe that if I had ordered a size Medium instead of the size Large I would have been 100% satisfied.

These are super comfortable, and warm. They are wool, so wash accordingly so they don't shrink. I was surprised how thick they are, and since they are wool, they breath very well. I am so far very pleased with them and hope they last a few seasons.

These are comfortable socks, no questions there. It's the first time I've worn socks distinctly right and left footed (there's an R and an L on the socks so you'll know which is which).But they are no warmer than any other socks I've worn.

I ordered these for my husband. His feet stay so cold all the time. He’s a sports official and at times will be standing in the cold for hours. In his opinion, they are fantastic. He has the orange/blue ones. Frankly they are hideous looking but he could care less because they are so warm on his feet as well as his legs. I should say that his legs are slim and these fit him very snug. I really don’t know if they would be too tight for the average man’s leg. For that reason and the price, I gave them 4 stars. My slim-legged husband gives them a 5.

This is great for when spending a day in snow. Keeps the feet and calfs warmer than my previous socks. The silicone grippers on the bottom is an odd choice, they make wearing my snow boots little difficult. Otherwise great socks.

My wife wears a size 9 shoe. The medium sock fit her perfectly. The sock goes all the way up to her knee, which she prefers when wearing ski boots to prevent the socks from sagging during the day. As a test for this review she had regular cotton socks on one foot and this Freshpairs brand ski sock on the other foot to test the warmth. She confirms that the ski sock foot was warmer. The sock was not overly thick and was tight enough to hold up well. The material was a good mix of comfort, warmth and elasticity for ski socks.One negative is the strange decision to put silicone anti-slip grips on the bottom of the ski sock. Putting on ski boots is hard enough due to the tightness of the boot. The silicone grip material on the bottom of the sock made it slightly more difficult to put the boot on. While putting the boot on, the sock "grips" onto the insole of the boot while sliding her foot in, stretching the sock a bit and making her toes in the front feel cramped. It takes a little bit of toe wiggling and shifting to adjust the sock while it's in the boot because of the silicone grips. Because of this, we are giving the Freshpairs ski socks a rating of 4/5 stars.

Theses ski socks are awesome. They are free of any moisture and just helps and protects your legs and feet on the slopes. Not to mention it keeps you from frozen temperatures and protecting yourself in that tough ski boot. These are amazing. I got the navy blue and they come in a two pack for multiple days of skiing or snowboarding! Great buy!
