The brass quick disconnects leak, better to get 3/4” hose to 1/2” npt fitting to connect to hose bibs. Chickens, turkeys and the dogs have their own throughout the farm. Get an aquarium heater for winter and fits on the bottom 👍

I purchased this just to try something new instead of another like the one we already had for our pets. Because it's smaller than our old one it's easier to clean but this one needs to be attached to something or else small pets can just move it sideways. The little door flap that has the water stopper thing is easy to open for pets, I wish the manufacturer could have added a pre drilled hole where a screw or smooth screw like piece could go to keep the door close to prevent smarty-pants pets from lifting the flap and easy to unscrew for cleaning in there.I would give it a 5 stars if the flap could be closed but I believe I shared an easy solution for any future buyers although, we have to make the hole and place something to keep it close. It's easy to clean and it came with all the attachments needed to use it.

While we still have to empty slobber from the bowls throughout the day, this bowl paired with an automated pipe warmer to prevent freezing, has been invaluable to our dog boarding business.
