J’ai installé ce verrou Thule sur ma fourgonnette après qu’une personne ait essayé de forcer ma porte en faisant un trou. Je cherchais une solution fiable pour sécuriser ma fourgonnette, et ce verrou est effectivement solide et robuste. Le mécanisme de verrouillage fonctionne bien, et une fois en place, il m’a donné un sentiment de sécurité supplémentaire.Cependant, j’ai rencontré un problème lors de l’installation. Ma carrosserie est un peu bombée, ce qui a empêché le verrou de fonctionner correctement une fois monté. Il était impossible de l’ouvrir à cause de ce décalage. J’ai donc dû démonter le verrou et ajouter des petites rondelles aux extrémités pour compenser la déformation de la porte. Le problème semble être résolu pour l’instant, mais je verrai à long terme si cette solution tient.Malgré ce petit souci d’ajustement, je trouve que c’est un produit fiable et dissuasif, idéal pour renforcer la sécurité des véhicules, surtout après une tentative d’effraction.En résumé, un verrou robuste et efficace, mais attention à l’installation selon la forme de votre carrosserie.

The lock installs with sheet metal screws, which loosen after about 20 uses of the door. I will have to remove it and replace it with another lock type and patch the holes in my van. Another issue: The company does not offer replacement or extra keys. I contacted A company representative, and they were unable to solve this problem. Avoid this product.

I had trouble in the winter time, spent extra time gettin it unlock, the rest of the year should b great, they look great too!
