I use these multiple times a week (I might drink too much coffee). They are so easy to dump and wash. The top does slide open because the cord and bag material are both slippery, but I just tie the cord over the cinch top and because of the slippery nature of the material its very easy to undo.

I bought these to strain out nut milk, I imagine they would be great for cold brew as well.

Only issue I have is that it's hard to clean the grounds out of the tunnel that holds the string. Otherwise, super durable and great buy.

These work great. They just aren't cost effective in the long run, so I purchased a pitcher instead.

Worked awesome zero grounds in the coffee. Also works to strain fruit juice for jelly.

I bought these to make my cold brew coffee. They don't allow coffee grounds to go through and wash easily. I bought a second set for my sister to go with the Mason jar with the spout handle I got

Little to no grounds in the coffee, great size and good quality material. Great for small coffee shops that want an easy way to make cold brew!

I live in Houston, and I am sorry but it is just to darned HOT to drink hot coffee in the morning. If I try to order "Coffee with ice" or "Black Coffee, over ice" anywhere I get "Iced Coffee" (I'm looking at you McDonalds) with tons of sugar and more sugar and other stuff. So I got these (less than $10!!) and an empty orange juice bottle. After a little washing I put coffee in the bag, but the bag in the bottle (making sure to keep the strings out), but water in the bottle, and the bottle in the fridge. I do this last thing at night before I go to bed.I wake up in the morning... big bottle of ice cold black coffee! And I don't have to take 15 min to make it and then cool it down!!!Yeah, I know that cold, black coffee is not everybody's cup of tea ;) but when it is 80 degrees at 8 in the morning, that's EXACTLY what you want to get your day going... and without a boat load of sugar and calories that come from "Iced Coffee".Slaps roof of Cold Brew Coffee Bag..."These things are going to save me so much money!!"

**UPDATE- it's been one year and I still use these weekly. Still in perfect shape!**These bags are super sturdy and so easy to clean. I received them a month ago and started using them right away, and I've been making a new pitcher of cold brew once or twice a week ever since. They easily hold one full cup of coffee grinds, possibly even could fit two, and the mesh is so fine you can even use normal drip-grind coffee! When you're done all the used grinds fall right out and a quick rinse with water and then hang to dry, that's all it needs. They dry super fast too!I have no complaints here, it's a sturdy product that does exactly what it should, and a great price.

If your coffee is too fine it tends to end up in your cold brew through the fine mesh. Otherwise it's relatively easy to you, works well, and pretty easy to clean if you turn it inside out.

I wanted to experiment with cold brew (I like cold coffee and take hours to drink it, so using ice just dilutes my coffee in to a watery mess).Like:- 2 pack, so it lets me run multiple jars- Ultra fine mesh (120 micron) doesn't let regular store bought ground coffee pass through- Easy to clean, rinse with water and let dry. Some coffee can get stuck in the stitch seams but doesn't bother me- Seams are well stitchedCons:- Draw string feels flimsy, also hard to use effectively, worried it will rip the bagI got a couple of 32 oz Bell Mason jars from my local store as they were cheap and the perfect size for 2 cups per jar and the size of this mesh bag.I put ground coffee in the bag, fold the top a few times and just tie it with a rubber band instead of using the draw string, as the draw string doesn't tightly "tie" the bag up. Also, it doesn't draw well and feels like the bag will rip if used repeatedly. Using a rubber band and folded over method works great :)To clean, I just empty the grounds in the trash can and rinse it under running water, no soap. Let it air dry.I've used it over a dozen times and haven't noticed significant staining of the bag, so the appearance as held up. The mesh looks and feels like new. Definitely a great mesh bag, especially for the price. Knocked a star off due to the draw string not being useful. No tips on how to brew cold coffee. I'm no expert, just starting to try this out. I used regular store bought ground coffee to try out first and plan to get whole beans and grind them at home eventually. I've been letting it steep for about 20 hrs and seems to turn out the way I want. I originally tried "concentrating" it but scaled back and now just make cold brew that can be consumed without diluting - that's about 4 coffee scoops per 32oz mason jar.

You don't need a fancy coffee machine to make delicious iced coffee. I didn't even have a fancy glass mason jar or pitcher. I just used my trusty old pyrex bowl. I used Dunkin' Donuts Signature Series Select Balanced Medium Roast Blend Ground Coffee. I put 16 tablespoons of coffee in the bag. I then placed the bag in the glass bowl and poured 1 cup of cold water inside the bag to moisten the coffee grounds. I tied the bag securely and then poured 4 cups of cold water into the bowl. I put the lid on the bowl and put it into the fridge to soak for 8 hours. After it was done soaking, I removed the bag and gently squeezed out the liquid. There were no coffee granules in the bowl, wow! I poured in one teaspoon of vanilla extract and one 14 oz can of warmed sweetened condensed milk. I mixed it all together and poured it in a glass filled with ice. I topped it with whipped cream and added a straw. This bag was also easy to clean. Just dump out the coffee grounds and rinse/wash the bag. These bags are amazing and you get two.
