So this is useful, especially when you allow your tortoise to travel in the yard. But it can slip off and the nails can get caught in the chain.The color is perfect to spot as the tortoise makes a run for it.Putting it on and sizing it takes time and patience. You do want to do this slowly and methodically without stressing the animal.I’m not a fan of leather and was disappointed to see it was in fact made of leather.One thing to note is you will have to cut the strap after the fitting, and even after the best fit depending on the surface it scrapes against, even this can come off… Always keep an eye on your animal.
