For some time now our 06 Impala transmission would give us fits. It would occasionally hang in 2ond gear from a dead stop. I regularly service the trans filter and oil, way before regimentation by GM. Knowing most likely the shift solenoids were at fault with 230,000 on the car. Sea foam would cure the issue for a period , but would return . This time I flushed out the trans with liqui-moly, changed the fluid and filter and added in their trans conditioner. Not a peep out of the unit! Wonderful stuff, this stuff does what it says and the transmission acts like new again . Use this first before you spend $$$$ for a transmission rebuild .

I have to say I was sceptical but it did work. I replaced the transmission fluid and then added half of the can.drove the car 500 miles and removed as much as the other half of can .
