I bought these to take on long flights. My lower back always gets sore in those chairs and this little thing is compact and does the trick. Takes the pressure off my lower back and makes for a more comfortable flight.

Very low quality! Used it twice and one it almost broke! Very disappointed with this purchase!

Easy to use once it's open. Hard to get open a lot of the time and closing makes a loud disruptive noise. I'm not entirely confident it would hold without tipping over if you stand on it bbut it does hold sitting down. Wish the seat was bigger though

I'm going ahead and giving it 5 stars even though I haven't used it yet (I have high hopes for it!). For years I have had a wonderful, sturdy fold-up footrest for travel that I also use at the theater, lectures, etc., which at 5'1" gives me a comfortable sitting position. So why but another one? The short answer is Iceland Air. Their seats are so tall my toes don't even touch my footrest or reach the built in one on the seat in front of me! What an uncomfortable trip that was! Now I'll be on Iceland Air again for two trips this year (everything else about them is just great). This measured enough taller than the one I have, I thought it would make a difference. Now that I have it, it is quite a bit taller than my other one so I'm happily surprised about that! I liked the way it folds and figured it would fit nicely in the backpack (it does). I think I'm going to find it a necessity whenever flying Iceland Air but there are a few cons.PROS: 1. folds flatter than the one I have but it's an entirely different construction design & material2. doesn't weigh any more than my other one3. bright colors will make it easy to spot in the dark of the backpack or anywhere else4. it seems it will be tall enough to actually reach it with my short legs and give a comfortable seating position5. it seems very sturdy (use it with confidence)CONS: 1. it is quite stiff to open (I might meet my seat mate by needing to ask for assistance ~ a pro within a con!)2. will not use it at home as the hard plastic may scratch my hardwood floors.3. not sure how much, if any, slippage will occur on hard and not rough floor surface finishes4. might be a wee bit problematic to get out of the way of someone else getting to and from their seat (I'malways on the aisle) That may stimulate interesting conversation ~ another pro within a con!5. the folding and unfolding may make it fatigue at the folds with time and eventually render it useless but Ithink that will take a very long time. (if it takes long enough to "wear out" then it isn't a CON, it's a PRO)

It's OK, just kinda large and clunky to use and takes more space in my carryon than expected.

Impressive item. Used it on a 91/2 hour flight and helped with comfort. I'm short legged so this definitely helped.

I left this at four stars because it does what it says there’s a very easily portable foot rest. That is pretty easy to put together. Being someone short, I thought this would come in handy. However, from a travel perspective, I found this Conson to put in my carry-on luggage and not something that would fit very easily in the aisle with my kids getting in and out and wanting to rest. I ended up just resting my foot on my bag more so than using this. This may be more helpful for non-airline travel.
