I have an old Icon Proform Treadmill. The Motor Controller failed. Contacted Icon; they no longer support the product. Checked Amazon to see if the had the part number I needed. They did. I called Treadmill Doctor and asked if this part would fir my machine. They confirmed it would. Ordered the part, was exactly the same, put it in and tried it. Worked, however, the speed was off. I eMailed Treadmill Doctor support, explained the situation; they got back to me in less than 24-hrs, providing me links to sites to troubleshoot the problem. I'm now having another unrelated problem, but I have every confidence when I call the Company, they will be more than helpful in helping me determine the right part to fix this new problem. Hard to get part, but happy that I found the positive folks and good products at Treadmill Doctor.

When I looked into this part, I listed my model number, the site said "This is an upgraded motor control board that may different from the OEM controller. We may need to contact you regarding your model number information from your treadmill. If we make several attempts but fail to get your information there is a clip chart included to show you how to make the board work for your treadmill". It did not list return information such as 20% restocking fee (my mistake for not checking the actual Treadmill doctor site). Well, the part did not fit, they did not have any option for making it work with my treadmill. I had to pay for the part, shipping to me, shipping back when they told me it would not work, and the restocking fee. So I paid $33 for a part that I did not keep. So do your homework and call them directly to make sure it will fit and what return policies are-cut out the Amazon middleman.

Bought for my belt sander project I am working on. Had a DC motor from an old treadmill that I needed to be able to control, and this controller is what most people have suggested. Plugged it in and it worked perfectly! The board is marked well so it was easy to just plug and play and my motor was running in no time. I plan to start switching some of my older equipment over to DC motors so will definitely be buying again.
