This adapter/charger is great for travel. It has the ability to charge USB 5 devices at once if you bring enough cables. If you have something that handles alternative voltages, you can plug it into this and use the wide array of plug types to be able to plug into mains power in other countries. Just be aware the mains power isn't converted when plugging into the top, this usage is an adapter and won't change the voltage.Having 2 usb a ports and 2 usb c ports to plug into is great. Those ports provide a low to medium level of power. They'll charge phones, earbuds, watches and some tablets just fine. Larger or higher powered tablets might need more power. The reason this loses a star is the crown jewel of this device, the 100w usb-c laptop charging is only available through the retractable built in cable. 2 feet isn't long enough in travel any situation except for the "work" desk in most hotel rooms with an outlet right on the desk. In almost any other situation, you'll find yourself (or at least your laptop) sitting on the ground in front of an outlet to charge. A usb-c extension cable capable of charging at 100W or higher is a necessary addition to reasonably use this to charge high powered devices. This is annoying because you already need to carry cables for the other ports, so one more cable that you probably already have wouldn't have been an issue. If they had just made one of the other usb-c ports be the high powered port, this would have been a great product. The built in moderately short extendable cable is perfect for topping off a phone at an airport without needing to get out an extra cable, but it could have done that with a 15w port instead of the only 100w port.

Does everything that it claims to do, but it's a bit quirky. For 100 watt travel adapter I'd say this is about the right size. Most of the actual adapter is just the different prongs that it has equipped, the actual Gan power portion it's only a little less than half of the actual adapter. I tested both the USB ports and the retractable cable. I was a bit disappointed that the USB ports on it has a max output of about 15 watts at 5v 3a, but they never claimed otherwise so I can't dock any points there. The actual retractable cable is in fact a 100 watt charging cable and though the length is enough for charging your phone overnight at your bedside, for any other use such as using your device while it charges I believe it's too short. So because it's cable is short I found a relatively easy remedy, all you need is a female to female type c adapter and a USB c cable that is rated for 100w. I was able to test this with my own adapter and cable with great results, but i do need to put in a warning here (be careful, in my testing the actual cable that comes out of the unit didn't get hot only maybe slightly warm, but the longer you make the cable and or if you use a cheaper cable that is not rated for the power this unit can provide it will increase the risk of overheating and possible damage to the cable, charger, or connected devices so if you do this be mindful and make sure to test it monitored first to make sure everything is working properly.) Now after connecting my adapter and plugging it into my battery which can charge at 100 Watts continuous I was able to reach the rated 100 Watts with about 10 watts of power loss though heat/resistance from both the cable and the unit itself. The only thing is after charging for about 40% of my 27,000mah battery it started to get quite warm the hottest spot i was able to find was at 152° f or about 66° C which is on a higher end of what I'm comfortable with for a charger, but to be fair it was charging at its maximum capacity continuously so charging a phone or smaller devices that limit themselves to about 45w maybe even 65w for larger tablets I'd say you'd be completely fine and it shouldn't get too hot, but charging stuff like laptops that can take 100 Watts I'd be a little bit more mindful. It didn't reach any critical temperatures, but it did reach a high enough temperature where I'm not very comfortable with leaving it alone. Overall for the price you're paying and what you get out of the box I'd say this is a great value, not only do you get a 100 watt charger you also get a very versatile and surprisingly well built travel adapter with the only downside being that the ports other than the retractable cable are all limited to about 15 watts which is enough for smaller devices, but not much else. Everything is clearly labeled and I don't believe you even need instructions to use this charger properly so I would definitely recommend this as a travel adapter to throw into a bag on a trip just in case you need it. I will continue using this travel adapter to charge some of my devices at home and report any problems I may have with it in the future.

This adapter is reliable, versatile, high quality and has a compact and stylish design that doesn't take up space in your luggage, leaving more room for essentials. My first impression of it is that it is good value for money. For a universal adapter with multiple ports and security features, it's very good value!
