1. Remove the old bathtub spout by turning counterclockwise.
2. Turn clockwise and wrap two to four turns of thread tape around the threaded end of the short fitting.
3. Turn clockwise and hand tighten the new tub spout onto the stem spout.
4. (Optional) Apply a small amount of silicone caulk to the back of the tub spout.

We were not able to use this as it did not have the shower puller. The Spout is durable and easy to install. Beautiful matte black and comes with everything but tools.

I couldn't find a plain universal bath spout without a shower diverter built in locally so I ordered this item.Quality is good, installation simple and the kit comes with multiple attachments to find a correct fit. Even comes with a small roll of teflon tape.

I am not a plumber but this installation wasn't bad at all. All it takes is a bit of patience and its done. Nice and shiny look. Looks well made and inside parts are a heavy plastic so they won't corrode. A good buy
