I was looking at this item for security cameras originally, but had held off on buying them because I haven’t even setup my security system.Recently got back into Golf+ and the places best suited for me to play are in low light situations. This little device removed all the pesky low light notifications from Meta and this is even with no lights on, so you could probably play in pitch black if you wanted.I will likely buy more in the future for extended range/clarity at night for security cameras and will update my review for that use case as well.I also plan to test one of these with one of my trail cameras eventually.

I own about 10 of these to invisibly light my property for security cameras. They DO have a faint but visible reddish glow at night but not objectionable for most applications. My only issue is the unpredictable lifespan which ranges widely. They usually fail by blinking for months and then quitting. Some last 7-8 years and some barely one year. Same product, same manufacturer.

I purchased 2 of these and could not be happier. The improvement over the cameras IR is dramatic. The entire area spans more than expected. I needed 45 feet and I can see the illumination from a different camera like a flood light 80 feet away. I have read some reviews that it has low illumination. I believe they havr cameras with a different light wave length. This has 850nm and is very powerful in this range. I also read other failures that is common in under powered power supplies. I use the power supply commonly used for camera and it has more power that required for these units.

Super bright for my outdoor security cameras. These were perfect for those foggy nights when camera ir lights render servailience useless. Mounted these away from cameras and turned off camera ir lights. This should take care of the spiderwebs over my cameras as well. Only negative was the plug in used for these are not rated for outdoor use, so I got a water proof box and a 4 way splitter from Amazon and a bunch of cable extenders. Update: after 2 weeks of use, 1 led is out already in one unit. I purchased four of these so hopefully they will not burn out any more leds. Still Works great but taking another star off for the bad led

This illuminator is excellent. For its size and power requirement it is the best I have seen. I have it fastened on the outside of my second story house, and it illuminates my entire front yard out to about 70 feet very clearly. The unique bracket makes it easy to install with 2 screws and the electrical cord is a good length.

I got this to test with night vision mode on my security camera and it works very well. The array of lights is extremely bright, it lit up my entire yard on the IR camera. I was concerned about the dispersal pattern but it is fairly wide and rectangular so is ideal for lighting a big area like a yard.It is very sturdily built, nice all metal construction and the arm hinges move easily and stay in place. My one complaint is that it does generate a noticeable amount of heat but that's unavoidable. The cord could be a bit longer as well.Overall I'm impressed and satisfied with the lights.
