I liked this USB Bluetooth 5.4 Transmitter or Receiver, is small, has volume and track control, Micro SD input and 3.5mm audio output. What I love about it is that there is no battery and it does not turn off when it is idle, just what I needed. There is no on/off switch, it turns on when the USB power is on. It works great within 15 feet distance. The range reach is stated to reach 10 meters or 32 feet but as with all Bluetooth devices any obstacle can break the reception/transmission.It reproduces with an excellent quality, but I have some considerations:1. If the sound is distorting, turn down a little bit the volume of the phone until you find the right spot. Also, if the source transmitting is not Bluetooth 5.4 or an old device it will work, but you won't get the best sound or the best features Bluetooth 5.4 supports.2. First, I connected to a cheap USB hub, and I got a lot of interference noise and distortion. When I changed it to a good one the sound was clean and crispy. So, connect it to a good power adapter or a good USB hub.I don't know what the graphic on the display means, I think it is just decorative. Also, I didn't test the microphone and didn't test the transmitter yet.

I found this a little tricky to use but I did catch on. This little transmitter and receiver switches mode between TX and RX using a simple side button. It could be me, but I could only get this to work as a soundcard on my computer in RX mode, so I could not get it to transmit my computer audio to my external BT speakers. No big deal. It does use the computer's USB port as power supply as there is no built in battery. I wasted my time trying to charge it overnight. Do not make this mistake, it is a USB powered transmitter and receiver only. Plugged into a USB port it can input audio via the AUX port. So that is a bonus. This player does transmit music to my external speakers and headphones via microSD car which is why I got this anyway. Anywhere there is a USB port I can transmit my audio books or music I load on the microSD card (not included). I am using a 64GB card without any trouble. This is a pretty good little transmitter/receiver. It also has a headphone/AUX 3.5mm port in addition to the microSD card slot. It has a blue LCD screen that does provide adequate status confirming TX/RX and input mode. Not much info but enough to get by.I find the sound quality and BT range quite OK and have no complaints at all. Not a bad little machine. For me, this is a small Bluetooth transmitter receiver that does work and does the job for me.

First of all, this is a highly versatile USB-powered audio device. It can play both mp3 and flac files on a Micro SD, and does handle 64GB. It can also be connected to a PC, and works as a USB audio device as well as a Micro SD reader. I do see some reviews mentioning that it cannot transmit PC audio over bluetooth without a 3.5mm input, but holding down both sides of the long media button at once for about 1 second cycles around to USB audio mode for me. Transmission over bluetooth sounds good no matter the audio source, whether 3.5mm, Micro SD or USB on the PC. Of course the receiving bluetooth device will determine the audio quality. The problem though came when I tried switching to rx mode. I was able to do all the same things that I could do in tx mode, the only difference being that it sent output through the 3.5mm jack instead of using it as an input. The problem is that all 3.5mm output, no matter the source of the input, is very badly distorted. Just as an example, I have a song that starts with crickets, but instead of crickets, I heard what sounded like a steam locomotive played through a cheap speaker. Some other things didn't sound as bad, but they were still not clear. I cannot use this as an mp3 player or as a bluetooth receiver to a car stereo system at all because of the horrible audio quality.Overall, bluetooth transmission is worth 5 stars, but reception is worth maybe 1 at best, making it a solid 3-star product.

This is just not a good transmitter/receiver combo. I tried using this device with my 6,1 Mac Pro in order to bypass it's dated and problematic on-board Bluetooth. It's not a "USB to BT" adapter in the sense that it transmits data over USB, rather USB is used for power and you have to run a 3.5mm AUX cord into the device to supply the actual audio signal. This isn't a huge issue my specific setup and frankly, it improves it's versatility with other devices like old receivers - but it can certainly be a little misleading on appearances alone.Pairing is easy enough despite the lack of a UI. Just put your headphones into pairing mode and hold them next to the device until the flashing 'TX' goes solid. The device only supports the SBC codec, while not going to be a problem for most people, really kind of limits the potential sound quality of devices you're going to be hooking up to this thing. I tested it with my Dyson Zone and a few pair of budget earbuds and it sounded fine to my ears - at least what I could actually listen to without interruption.I experienced frequent connection issues with this device ranging from stutters, pops, lagging, and complete drops sitting just three feet from the computer - and even with clear "line of sight" between it and my headphones. I don't know if it's more to do with the codec or the quality of this device, but I suspect it's more to do with the latter since I've used cheap SBC transmitter/receiver combo devices in the past and they have a rock solid signal compared to this thing. That pretty well makes this device useless to me since it can't reliably transmit audio, and nothing else about it can make up for that. You're better off looking elsewhere.
