Looks cheaply made. Not sure how well it will hold up. It doesn’t look like the picture in my opinion. But will give it a try this winter.

tl:dr Awesome scraper on hard frost, sturdy, highly recommendMy old scraper has a plastic edge. It could only take off about 1.5" (3.5cm) of ice along one edge or the other, depending on which way I pressed down. It was tiring and annoying.This scraper is infinity times better than my old scraper! The morning after I got it, I had the chance to try it out on some hard frost on my windshield. The morning low was 12F (-11C). This scraper took the frost off along the entire edge! I wasn't scaping the ice, this tool was slicing it right off the windshield! It seemed as if I was done in mere seconds compared to almost ten minutes with the ol' plastic-edged scraper.I've used it three times and it seems study and well-made. I like that I can renew the edge with a metal file easily later on. It's not real obvious in the product page pictures, but the blade is at an angle. No biggie, just an fyi.I have a mid-sized SUV and I'm 6'1" (1.9m) and, because of the handle length, I had a little trouble reaching the center, middle and top of my windshield. At least not without leaning on the vehicle, something I don't want to do in my work clothes. If there were a model with a longer handle, I'd buy it. But I'd prefer that scraper to have a blade 90 degrees to the handle. It would be easier to use two-handed.

I think that the picture makes it look much bigger than it really is in real life. I was disappointed as I thought it would be long enough to make cleaning off my windshield a breeze. The scraping blade appears very sharp and in fact is a little scary when not covered by the included plastic cover. I think this would work great as a commercial grill scrapper as the blade looks so sharp. If you have kids you should secure this because I could see that children could get hurt pretty easy if they decided to play with it.

I e always found that metal ice scrapers work phenomenally Bret than their plastic counterparts, but they are difficult to find. This one works well and comes with a plastic protector for the metal scraping edge. It is exactly what I was looking for.

Kind of cheaply made,Part that holds scraper blade in is made of plastic,And it's slightly over priced.You can get one if these at Harbor Freight for $5And the portion that holds the blade is made of aluminum, and the blade portion is about an inch or so wider.So "no" I would not recommend this to anybody.Go to Harbor Freight and save $3 and get a better made, bigger scraper.

This is a full-on sharpened wide razor blade. It cuts through ice like butter, but has the potential for scratching the windshield or cutting through fingers, so don't hand it to a 2 year old or careless person. I also don't store it in the car as I don't have a way to keep it safe from bending or flying terrifyingly through the cabin in a wreck- smarter or less lazy people than I can work around that.
