IOS app is: hoverboard 1 (its red)Just FYIOrdered 2 on the Dec 8th 2023, Opened and charged xmas day.Powers on, works well until you get off of it and it just shuts down.Also would shut down randomly at timesShutdown? just get back on it! No...It locks up and will not power up every time.To get it to power up you have to plug it in then unplug it, now it will power up and yell as loudly as it can "Bluetooth pairing!!!!" next door could hear it lolalso one came with the EU/CN plug, nice.So we returned them and got the replacements today 1/2/24; and yes defective the same way.Dont buy this one.

The unit works fine, once you can figure out how to connect it to the app to make adjustments based on experience.Out of the box without the app, this is NOT a beginner item...wear your helmet and pads while learning if a beginner.Using the app, to start the password is defaulted to 000000 or 123456 in order to connect. I had issues with this at first not knowing and found this info later on after a few days.Battery does not last as long as expected or mentioned.Overall, I am fine with it based on the price I payed and didn't feel the need to return it, which I do Quickly if not satisfied with my Amazon orders.

I've ridden other hoverboards before. I figured this was a good deal, so I purchase one for me and my spouse.1st - this hoverboard comes with a Chinese plug in, so unless you buy and adapter (best buy for $10), you can't charge it, which is annoying if you are trying to get this as a gift.2nd - the board has 3 different modes for beginner, intermediate, and expert. You cannot change these modes unless you have the app. The app is completely BS and has so many bad reviews. They all say the same thing... that it wont connect. Well, same thing happened to me. It wouldn't connect. I stepped on it with one foot and it was super sensitive and almost came out from under me. Guessing that was the expert mode.3rd - the seller claims the board will go up to 15 miles on a single charge. WRONG. It clearly states on the outside of the box that it will go up to 9 miles on a single charge.SO, unless you want to spend extra money for an adapter AND you have tons of experience with hoverboards and can control this thing (with no app control), then I wouldn't buy it.

Bought this for my niece, wondering if the lack of reviews meant lack of quality but that wasn't the case. This is sturdy, durable, fast, and responsive. Great hoverboard and definitely worth the money.
