THE STEPS BELOW SHOULD BE FOLLOWED TO ENSURE A SMOOTH INSTALLATION

· If the battery pile head is not worn out, please operate as follows:

1. The battery terminal clamp can be placed directly at the battery pile head, and the screw of the pile head can be tightened, without using the thin gasket attached with the product; Do not shake the product during screwing (In addition, please note that the terminal clamp must be placed at the bottom of the pile head, otherwise it cannot be tightened down.)

2. If it cannot be tightened down:

a) Completely loosen the screw of the pile head, let the clamp relax naturally, and then operate the above steps again;

b) If it still can not be tightened down according to the above steps, please lengthen the handle length of the hexagon wrench, and then operate according to the above steps. In order to ensure safety, the chuck of the product is pretty strong, and it is not easy to tighten down if the strength is not enough.

· If the battery pile head is worn out, please operate as follows:

1. Insert the thin gasket attached with the product: put the thin gasket close to the battery pile head, and then place the chuck; the thin gasket can be placed around the pile head or stacked according to the actual needs; In addition, please increase or decrease the gasket according to the wear degree of the pile head (Please be noted the gasket is ultra-thin, do not hurt hands.)

2. Then follow Step 2 above.

ATTENTION

Please make confirmation on post size before placing an order, which is variety, the terminals are coming in pairs(one positive, one negative); both of them are same size. NOTE: When purchasing the shims of the corresponding size, the outer diameter of the circular shims should not exceed the diameter of the fixed circle on the head of the product.

This terminal post is a great option for GM side post style batteries. Our truck (2003 GMC Sierra 2500HD 4WD - Duramax and Allison combo) has several aftermarket accessories that require high amp output. The only way to provide that power is a direct connection to the battery. I had been using a brass post adapter that provided an extended terminal for connections, but this setup requires all the accessory cables to be disconnected before the battery cable.These Vgate terminal connectors are a huge improvement. The flexibility to add or remove accessories without dealing with a single point of connection is super convenient. Off-road lighting, winch, and plow connections can all be separated now. When additional accessories are added, there is no need to mess with other connections. When jump-starting another vehicle, the Vgate post provides a much better point of contact for the jumper cables. My favorite feature is not having to disconnect all the accessories when the battery needs to be disconnected or removed! It's a single terminal disconnect with all the accessory connectors attached to the Vgate terminal.Some GM trucks (like ours) are known for ground issues. These terminals provide the option to add ground connections to mitigate factory chassis ground issues. This has made a noticeable improvement in the overall performance of the truck. I noticed the Allison transmission had cleaner and improved shift timing, and the random malfunctions of gauges or air conditioning controllers have stopped.Caution (unrelated to these terminals): A ground loop issue can be caused by incorrect placement of additional chassis and body grounds. There are several videos available online that provide excellent recommendations for this specific issue.The materials and finish of these terminals are excellent. We have had a set of Vgate terminals on our Jeep for several months with zero indications of corrosion between the terminals and battery. The batteries in both the truck and Jeep were only a couple of months old when I installed the Vgate terminals. (Tech Tip: It is worth cleaning the battery terminals with a wire brush and baking soda, then rinsing with distilled water before installing new terminals.)Bottom line: I highly recommend these Vgate connectors for anyone with a GM side post style battery. The flexibility to add accessories, having a clean connection, and show quality installation makes these a worthwhile investment.

These bus bars are by far the best I've found they're wonderfully made easy to use they're goanna last you a lifetime I work with solar stuff every day and I have to tell you these are nice you take these, and you combine batteries to these so that you can have one main input to your battery system

The pictures don't do these any justice, guys. These are very nicely machined terminals that will work for a wide array of projects and wiring jobs. We are using these in an offroad vehicle for a lot of accessory wiring that we are doing.PLEASE NOTE: Check and double-check your posts/bolt sizes before ordering. These are machined to be exactly as they advertise in the listing. I failed to do this and had to order an adapter so that mine will work. This is totally my fault so no shade to the product at all.Pros: Highly machined, durable, perfectly sized, versatile, very good looking, priced right, nice to have.Cons ??? nope I simply can't find one.Highly recommended.
