I really wanted to like this lens more as I also own the Viltrox 135mm LAB lens and am very happy with it (except for the aperture ring accidental movement issue)! One of the main issues I had was when put to a head to head match up in the same exact conditions against my now somewhat dated Sigma 35mm f1.2 DG DN Art I actually found the photos for the art lens better and more were sharp! That said to be fair my Sigma lens is now several years old and was about $600 more. Both lenses firmwares were fully up to date.Strangely while using the same fixed 6-stop ND filter the older Sigma lens autofocus performed better with more keepers and the raw images were natively brighter for the exact same f1.2 aperture setting! I should mention it was a very bright sunny day.In this case I unexpectedly ended up keeping the Sigma and returning the Viltrox as I discovered the grass is not always greener.
