Trying to assemble it made my brain hurt, so I had my boyfriend do it. It took him about an hour and a half. That said, it's a beautiful, solid, sturdy case for my record collection, and I love it.

We're actually a bit surprised at how good this rack is. It's priced for the budget realm, but there are a whole lot of other products out there that are flimsy and not well-designed. This is strong, sturdy, and everything fits together really well.The instructions are quite good - the main issue is always not putting on a piece backwards, and the diagrams explicitly point out the hole placement in pieces so you can get it right. I wouldn't say assembly is difficult as much as just time-consuming - there are a trillion screws to put in. Do yourself a favor and use a ratchet instead of the included allen key, but otherwise, it was fine. There are only two tools needed - a phillips screwdriver and the hex key, and they provide a couple extra of each screw. Zero issues with fitment or holes not lining up.Once assembled, it's actually really strong. Lightweight enough to move easily, but it'll handle some weight. The only real quibble is that a lot of the pieces could be combined into one (the back, the bottom shelf, etc.), but they do fit well so it doesn't look too bad. All in all, a really nice piece.

This worked great for me in solving a space issue for my vinyl LPs. Well made and looks nice...doesn't take much space. It was easy to assemble, but I used a ratchet screwdriver with the appropriate head rather than the tools supplied. There is a gap at the bottom of the top shelf, front, two small mesh screens that a thin single vinyl can slide through. I bought two small square black tubes (on Amazon) that were the width of each shelf and dropped them in place which corrected the issue.

It arrived early and is possibly the best packaging I have seen to minimize damage. Every piece seems to have some sort of styrofoam (sheet or strip) to protect it. Additionally, the entire box is lined with protective styrofoam. When I opened the box and saw the 10 pages (5 front and back) of assembly schematics and noted it has 64 screws...I passed assembly on to my husband who is much more patient than I and has better screwdriver skills. He indicated the directions were thorough (every part was numbered), holes all lined up perfectly etc. I've included a pic of a couple of the instruction pages. Note the bottom corner of one shows 64 screws. Yep. Lots of screws. There were a couple extra but it still has a lot.This record rack is very sturdy and does not wobble despite it being so lightweight. I never intended to use it for record storage but placed a couple of LPs on it for the pic so one could see it does have the right dimensions for album storage. I have another record rack so have an idea about their storage and am confident this could hold about 200 single albums as indicated by the seller.I was a bit overzealous downsizing my home office desk space and have found I need more room for "stuff" so this will serve that purpose as seen in the pic. It is definitely is a multi purpose piece. It would make a great plant stand. My cats would not be able to shove the plants off the top shelves due to the wire mesh front (intended for holding albums in place as one flips through them). That said, I may end up using this as a record rack. We'll see. Many opportunities. I do hope it is eventually made with other finishes. I would like something less dark and less rustic in appearance.

Was excited when product arrived. After unboxing noticed that there was not any assembly instructions included with my purchase. Upon further inspection the quality was subpar for something that costs 70 dollars and appears that there is zero quality control with any of the tack welds on the product.

Putting this together was a nightmare. There is so much physical labor that's required for the B screws. The allen key just wasn't getting the job done efficiently at all.The product itself is large, which is great. I am multipurposing this as a bookcase for my kids. They have loads of books and I needed something that didn't take up a large amount of bedroom space, but provided a large amount of shelf space at the same time.
