the product description on this item is misleading, it makes it seem like the BP cuffs that come with this will fit with device, none of the cuffs came with the metal attachment to fit into the sphygmomanometer, so this item was not able to be used at all. Had to return this item... was very disappointmed

So this product is amazing. The aneroid is a masterpiece and its great that their are different cuffs available but, the quality in the cuffs is not up to par with the aneroid. I've gotten a lot of inaccurate readings at least off by 10 when taking patients blood pressures. I feel as though it has something to do with the poor quality of the cuff and also how long the tube is to the aneroid. My theory is that the tube is too long or the cuff is not of quality. But it is an amazing product, I wish it was as accurate though. 6

An outstanding and accurate product for patient use and medical safety in monitoring their blood pressure. This is well worth the cost.

I had problems I received my product Welch Allyn DS58 Platinum series kit only came with 3 instead of 4 bracelets. The problem is that I am no more in the United States, but in Brazil! Can you help me?

It takes a bit to get used to since the design of sphyg makes you have to adjust the bulb in your hand in such an angle that can be a little uncomfortable at first. The meter itself is beautifully made and very clear and easy to read. The one thing that I didn't like about this instrument however is the fact that the thumbscrew knob easily screws off and has came off several times while measuring patient's BP. I've used it only a handful of times and the knob must have fallen off randomly without my knowledge, and now it's nowhere to be found. Now I have to order a new knob, which is very inconvenient. Also it is hard to find a replacement knob, and without the knob the sphyg is completely nonfunctional. I consider this a major design flaw. It makes sense that most thumbscrew valves do not completely separate from the instrument, it's just too bad it's not the case for this one considering it's a "Platinum" series that's suppose to be well used for a "lifetime".

I bought this for nursing school and have loved it. It is so much nicer than the cheaper sets and the quality is superb. For me, it was worth spending the extra cash knowing this is something I will use pretty much every day for years.

This blood pressure kit is perfect. It included all the cuffs I will ever need and an interchangeable tube to go between them to the gauge. The Gauge bulb is easy to squeeze and pumps up fast and allows for easy controlled release of the pressure.
