This thing started peeling as soon as it was applied, and fell off the wall entirely after 2 months. After falling, it had no stick left, it was essentially trash.I had ordered this same product years ago and it was great - even lasted through a couple of moves and reapplications and still stuck great. It did peel some paint though, so they must have changed the adhesive. The new version just doesn't work. Don't buy this trash.Fortunately Amazon processed a return for this product even outside of the return warranty.

Installation was very manageable. Instructions and support were spot on. I had the 4x8 size and it's absolutely a 2 person job. But it's completely manageable with 2 people, as they recommend. For the 2 years I used the board, it was fantastic. Very solid writing surface that never failed me. When removing the board, using extraordinary care, it was impossible to remove without damaging the paint and wall. We had to use some spackle to fill in then paint over. It wasn't that big if a deal and was completely worth it when compared to the productivity I had from the product. It's worth mentioning that I suspect the paint was cheap apartment paint. With a higher quality paint, you may have no trouble at all. Still, completely worth it and would purchase again.

Loved it! easy to install. It says its supposed to be removable and reusable however, it tore up the apartment wall completely when removing it a month later. not only did it cost me $500 in damages to the wall, its also not reusable because the paint is all stuck to the back and won't restock. but besides that, the quality is great, it was easy & fast to set up and its a good product. sad i couldn't reuse it when i moved.

This is a wonderful product and works exactly as advertised. Applying it to the wall does take a little patience. I'm sure the smaller boards are somewhat easier, but at least for the large board, the initial application is a three-person job. The most important thing to note is that you will probably need to apply the board, then let it rest for a while, then adjust it. I found that in the initial application, it's not practical to get all the bubbles out. If you're tempted to drive all the bubbles out in the first go, you'll probably overdo it and turn some of the bubbles into hard folds or wrinkles that will be permanent. What I found works best is (1) work from one of the corners to the opposite corner, so that you're adding 2-3 inches in the diagonal direction in each pass; (2) smooth the surface with something softer than the provided plastic spatula thing -- I used a large stack of 3x5 cards and it worked very well (no folds); and (3) after the board has been up for a few hours, peel back each corner to the middle and re-apply it -- this is when the bubbles and little anomalies can be completely driven out. I suspect the board needs time to stretch or shrink a little to the exact contour of the wall, and maybe recover from a little stretching you cause during the first application. In any case, peeling each corner back to the middle and re-smoothing it outward was the magic step that made the board look like it was painted on the wall, not just floating over it.

We purchased two of these stick on whiteboards, and had to return both of them. After spending about an hour getting things all lined up and installed neatly we were initially satisfied. You can write on them, and they erase essentially like any whiteboard. But the next day when we came in the corners were beginning to come down. We re squeegied them as hard as possible, but still they came down. I can not recommend this product, and I can't believe that no one else has experienced this issue. When it failed so quickly for me, how is there NO mention of this from anyone else? We have standard paint on our standard walls in our office. So... beware.

I bought four of these for our training and conference area. The install super easy work just as well as the much more expensive mountable tyoes that go for 300 andmore. Throw away the instruction and go directly to their website for the installation techniques. The instructions bear no resemblence to how they need to be installed. The markers they supply with them are great, though a search of Amazon reveals no availability. I tried the traditional dry-erase markers, and they worked, but you had to work harder to get the ink from the 'other' dry eraser marker to come off. Tip: picture frame the units with a simple fpat moulding or chair-rail to keep idiots from writing on your wall or going past the edge of the board when they are erasing. Great product!

Installation:Super easy, I did it by myself in under 10 minutes. Simply tape it up, like the instructions say, then fold the half that you are going to peel over to the other side. Static forces will make the two "whiteboard" sides stick to each other and allow you to peel the paper off. Once the paper is peeled off use an exacto knife to cut that half of the paper off. Now unfold the whiteboard and stick it on and smooth out the bubbles. Repeat for the second side.I have a slightly textured wall and even that shows through, so realize this is paper thin and will contour to whatever surface is behind it. If you have knockdown wall texture I would avoid this. And if you have time, I would definitely sand any major bumps out of the wall before applying.Usage:I use the expo original ink whiteboard markers (not the low odor, this is important). They work perfectly and dry erase just fine. Although after alot of erasing using the expo spray is definitely advised (just like a real whiteboard).Cutting:my wall was 6.5' long, so I cut mine to size. It was simple and easy, and then I cut the leftovers into smaller pieces and slapped them around the house. Fun at parties and great to keep chore lists.Removal:peels off easily, no effect to my paint.
