I bought it because it, unlike many others, has a hollow core screw, better for not damaging the cork. However the screw, or worm, is too short and I've had to screw it in as far as I can, lower the arms and then screw some more (into the cork) and lower the arms again. The cork does come out easily, more so than some. And I wish it had a small blade to help in removing the lead wrapper which is more useful than a beer bottle opener. The price was very reasonable.

I have another wine opener similar to this. I like this one better though. It just has a nicer feel to it. Feels a lot more sturdy and easier to use. Definitely recommend this!

This is a nice looking wine and regular bottle opener. I like that you can open both so you only need one gadget. The opener has some heft to it so it should last a long time.To remove a cork, keep the arms down and put the tip of the screw in the center of the cork. Screw down the bottle opener end and let the arms raise up. When they are all the way at the top just press down on both arms and the cork will come out. I like that there is rubber on the ends of the arms so you won't lose your grip on the metal.

The wing corkscrew is my favorite wine opener. The push down handles genuinely assist ergonomically to extract the cork. And this version does just that very reliably and smoothly. The zinc alloy plated opener makes it attractive while the rubber tipped wings provide the grip that those without a lot of hand/arm strength will appreciate. It's both highly functional and a visually appealing add to your counter or bar cart at the same time.

This is the easiest type of wine bottle opener to use. The bottle opener works excellent as well, removing a cap in the first attempt. This is a must have tool near every bottle of wine, especially at this price point.
