This solidly built wine opener is a huge upgrade from the cheap, folding knife-style corkscrew it replaced. That old design made it difficult to get proper leverage and often left pieces of cork behind.In contrast, this opener is thoughtfully designed, feels great in the hand, and opens bottles with ease. The construction is sturdy and reliable—making it a far more enjoyable and dependable tool for opening wine.

I ordered this Wine Opener, Zinc Alloy Wine Bottle Opener, Wing Corkscrew Wine Bottle Opener, 2-in-1 Multifunctional Design (black) (Black) to replace my broken opener.This is a pretty standard wine bottle opener. You open the wings, screw it into the cork, and then close the wings to pull the cork from the bottle. Like similar openers, you need to exercise care so that the screw enters the cork in the center and is not leaning to one side or the other. Also, the screw is long enough to go completely through some corks.

This is a no frills must have if you're a wine lover. I only have been using the freebie ones I get from hotels and this wine opener just works beautifully without the struggle when I use the freebie ones. It's really easy to use and you'll open your wine bottle easily with this. I can recommend.

The plastic smell coming off this is so insanely strong, other than it's a pretty standard wine opener, but I just can't handle the smell.

Arrived today and I snapped my cheapo old opener. Love this wine opener. Simple to use and ergonomical so it doesn’t take a lotnn no of effort to lift out the cork. The arms aren’t super thin so they are comfortable in the palm of your hand.Nice weight to this opener- sturdy so the wine bottle doesn’t slide around. Nice price

I had an opener with the same design before, but it was rather flimsy. This wine opener is very solidly built. It worked wonderful in opening that enjoyable bottle of wine. Cheers!!!
