Size Small is just right, close fitting and comfortable (5'3" with 6-8 pants).. They are very thin, perfect for a base layer and for use as pajamas. As to quality- seems nice, not itchy at all. They haven't been put to the test in cold weather but they are keeping me warm these autumn nights.

I ordered these 250g for a snowshoeing trip up in Lake Tahoe. The day I wore them was a bit warmer outside than initially expected, but even with the intense activity I did not get too hot with them under my pants. They fit me a bit loose in parts of my legs but the smaller size was not as comfortable in the waistband so I kept this pair. Would highly recommend. I bought one of their tops as well and loved it! Nice bonus that it came with a comfy pair of wool socks and laundry bag, which I did not know about in advance. Also, great packaging.

So, I really like the pants a lot. Soft to the touch, comfy and a little warmer that my “lightweight” wool thermals. I have very sensitive skin - they are soft when you feel them with your hands, but may become a little scratchy with long periods of use. I will typically always use a thin layer between my skin and wool, so they worked just great for me.One thing I found to be rather odd was that every time I ordered a certain color - the wrong color would arrive?! I ordered the all grey floral and received grey, with grey & black floral and pink stitching. Which it turns out I really like, so I am keeping it.I am a little disheartened that it is not the set I really wanted. I tried over and over again (4-5 times) to order the “snowflake” color and never received the right one… so that was disappointing. Over all I really like the thermals. I just wish that the seller would recognize that their inventory must be mis-marked as each time I order a style/color the wrong one would arrive.

I am 5'8" and 130lbs (usually a size 27 or 28) and these fit perfectly. I am usually in between a size small/medium, so I opted for the medium. I haven't taken them off since I got them because they are so comfortable and they aren't bulky at all so I can easily put any of my pants on over top of them. They're actually a little thinner than I expected them to be, but I still find them to be really warm. The free socks that came with them are also super comfy and I haven't taken those off either! I ordered the matching top as well but am waiting for that to arrive.

"Base layer" doesn't capture this product well at all. They're so smooth and attractive that I wear them as leggings with my favorite merino wool dress to stay cozy all day. The seams aren't obvious, with no contrasting thread like some brands. They don't cling to outer layers. They both fit and wash well. Merino wool's properties are many, so choose nothing but - but go with this company's version of Merino to save a little money and get a high quality product.

Just wow! I was looking for comfy undergarments to wear on an upcoming trip. I’ve had bad experience finding such in the past, but after reading about the product and checking out the reviews, I decided to go for it. I couldn’t be more pleased! So soft, lightweight, and comfy! These will take minimal room in our bags which is a plus as well. And they are stylish - they don’t scream long underwear! I like them so much they could become my new cold weather PJs! And the packing and customer service was exceptional! Really? A cute bag, a pair of glorious wool socks, and a laundry bag included with each of my 3 purchases! The coupon included for a free add on gift was no hoax either. Who are these people? You don’t find this kind of hometown service often when ordering on line. You can’t go wrong here!

These fit like perfect long underwear. They look nice enough for me to wear under dresses as leggings and they are also slim enough to wear under jeans or other pants when you need extra warmth. These are much less expensive than most merino wool products yet I reach for them more often than my more expensive merino wool leggings. They do not itch and have a smooth comfortable finish. Being 100% merino wool they are extremely breathable and I find them comfortable in many temperatures. I even wore them to hot yoga and found myself wishing my top was as breathable as the leggings.I machine wash them on gentle and hang to dry. They seem wrinkled when they dry but they smooth out when wearing them.

These are very nice wool base layer leggings at a great price point. I bought these for wearing around the house and running errands. I may purchase another pair depending on how these will hold up after multiple washings (and line dry). The pros: The wool is a nice thickness, not thin but not bulky. It keeps me warm. At 260 grams, it is slightly higher than the name brand at half the cost. Like the choice of colors offer. Great price. The Cons: they are not as soft, although still comfortable. Not itchy. I knocked off one star for the waistband. The elastic waistband is comfortable without feeling binding and thin enough to not add bulk if you are wearing these under pants...however; after wearing them for the first time, pieces of the elastic broke and started peeking out (see picture). These leggings were not tight on me either...as I was thinking I could have gone down another size. I am between a US size 2-4 in pants/jeans and I purchase these in a size small.
