The item description lists this nightgown as cotton. Unfortunately when I received the item it clearly is not cotton. It feels like rough, polyester and the elastic in the arms and collar was all exposed instead of stitched in the seams. When I requested to return the item I would have had to pay for my own postage to send it back. This would have cost more than the item itself.

It is sooo soft and you feel at ease in this nightgown. I bought an large, normally I would buy a large at most, but it gives you so much more flair, and makes you look young.

context: 5’4 180lbs or so, small chested. I got a large.It lands a couple of inches above my knee which I love. It’s a good length for sleeping in as longer nightgowns drive me crazy. It’ll keep you modest just barely. So cute. The light pink is so feminine! The fabric is soft and stretchy but not as shapeless as your typical jersey material. There are some super cute bow and lace details that I love. The neckline is great and because of how baggy it is it doesn’t look weird without a bra. I haven’t washed it but I could see myself air drying this so the fit and softness is maintained.

It’s a little scratchy & shrunk a bit. I ordered a larger size luckily but the length shrink more than I like. I won’t return but am disappointed.

I bought this nightgown with little guidance because there were few reviews from a woman of voluptuous size with the details I looked for before purchasing clothing online (weight, regular size, etc.).I am 185 pounds, 5'6, and usually wear an XL in dresses. I ordered an XL in this nightgown, even though Amazon recommended me an L. I was scared it would be too small for my liking since I don't like my sleepwear to be tight, and it would probably shrink since it is made mainly of cotton.I am thrilled with my XL. It is comfortably the right size for me since I like my nightwear a little oversized. I haven't washed it yet, but even if it does shrink, I think it would still be the perfect size for my liking. I may have gotten away with an L, but again, I prefer my nightwear to the ideal amount of oversized. I recommend a large if you like your nightgown to be more form-fitting. It's boxy and thin but not sheer. I might try sewing a dart at the waist, but it looks fine as it is. I'll be ordering this in more colors.

So soft, stretchy, and cool to wear to bed. Fits as expected, not see through, washes very well, didn’t shrink in the dryer, very flattering style and colour. I have since bought several more.

I bought this initially for a Halloween costume but now use it to sleep in. It’s very soft material and great quality. It’s not super see through but you may need to wear something underneath if you are wearing it out. The material is good thickness as well IMO. it does get a little wrinkly after being washed but it’s not too big of an issue. I really love the way it looks and feels.

I bought a medium and it was way too big. I sized down to small but could have gone with an xs if they had it. Either way, it's loose and should be comfortable in summer. What I like is that it's actually cute and doesn't seem grandma'ish, but still has sleeves.
