I am very pleased with purchasing this gavel. I feel the quality of the wood was great was not too big was not too small. The only thing I feel that should have been better. Was the engraving on the gold was not very dark. A little hard to read the words that were imprinted, wish they would have put a color to make the words more prominent as this was a gift. My advice is to order more of a bold print than one that shows on the lighter side.

This was exactly what I wanted. I wish I had bought one that came with a wooden box though!! I will probably end up replacing it with a nicer one with a box that goes with it.
