I ordered these in my normal size, 13. GI was surprised to see they ran just a little big, not "too" big, per se, but there is probably a good quarter of an inch of room. I'm not sure I would necessarily go down a half size. The craftsmanship is outstanding. I bought them for work boots, but they're so cool looking and unique, especially with the green soles, that I haven't yet put them in "work" service. I would definitely buy from this maker again.
