I used to have to go get the car, wait in traffic and pull up in front of the club on a very busy weekend night, so I could load my bass.No more. Rolling right up Bway and a right on 7th and I’m there. Solid construction, wheel is a real rubber tire, easy off/on. Fit perfectly. So happy to have a wheel again!

It needs to be tightened so as to not rotate randomly. But once secured, it does what is supposed to do. Recommended.

This transport wheel is of the highest quality and priced about right. However, 3/8" is not quite large enough for the 10mm tail pinhole. It wobbles too much and makes you wonder what future problems may result from an improper fit in an expensive musical instrument. I'm unwilling to take a chance! The info regarding returns, credit , etc. seemed adequate. It was handled nicely.

Bought it for my daughter's bass. Her bass has a 14mm base pin, which I discovered is rather uncommon. I turned a 14mm sleeve from aluminum, with a 3/8" bore, and epoxied it on the shaft. My daughter is extremely happy with it, and uses it often. In researching these things, several sources said to avoid non-pneumatic wheels for bases with carved solid tops and backs, for fear that the hard wheels would cause splits (vibration). So I sprung for the more expensive pneumatic wheel.

This is an amazing wheel. It is not just a hard rubber tire, it is actually as advertised--a pneumatic tire that you can fill it to make it as solid as you want. We leave it soft for shock absorbtion. It imakes it so easy to manipulate and move the bass before and after concerts.
