I love these sticks, and with my xop stand are the only way I'll mobile hunt from now on. Leave the climber at home... After a lil practice, your almost just as fast, and a lot safer.

For those debating about stick! I went through months of reviews and back n forth before purchasing the XOP steps. They are beefier than I hoped but overall this is minor, we are talking 1-2lbs... not a deal breaker.These things pack great! factory straps are a piece of cake to use and i do not think ill switch to a versa strap or amsteel rope mods for some time. I dont need to save a few ounces and spend more $$$.... for now...also, these stick bite the tree HARD, no slipping moving etc. they are rock solid.Added stealth strips and buckle silencers. love it!hope this helps. watch the youtube vids about weights etc for those interested.

In my opinion these are the best climbing sticks on the market. They are basically the exact same as the lone wolf climbing sticks, with one added feature the locking mechanism. The locking mechanism is the most valuable feature of these sticks. You stack them together and turn the step to lock them together. This gives you a rock solid lock-up, with no rattling or play. If you have the xop stand, paired together they carry together very well with very little movement. I really can’t believe these don’t cost more.

The forks that grip the tree is , unnecessarily' hard to get to to tighten. Other then that work good.

i just received my climbing sticks they are by far the best ones ive used they are very sturdy easy to put up and its genius hw they lock together so you are not clanking them around through the woods their not the lightest ones out but i dont mind the xtra pound or two with how they lock together...

These climbing sticks are great. The feature I like the most about them is how easily they lock together, which makes it so much easier to transport them. Once you get the strap snugged down on the tree, these babies aren't going anywhere. Using for of them I can easily get 20 feet up into a tree. I don't have anything to compare these climbing sticks against but I'm not sure what would make them better. Maybe there's a way to lighten the actual steps on them but they're already pretty lightweight. Highly recommend this product.
