I liked that you can choose what end you need to use before you cut and solder the other end to the aqualink board depending on what antenna you buy to add to it

Not very good quality. When I open the item, it had rubber plugs to cover the SMA connectors. I went to pull the rubber plugs off. And they came completely apart, they didn't even last 1 minute, then they were broken.Just for me, cooling on the little rubber cap they covered the mel sma connector. Very cheap made. I returned them immediately, ten do not buy.

IMPORTANT: This uses RPSMA plugs, or "Reverse Polarity" SMA plugs. The side that is usually associated with being male is female and vice versa. Because of this, I had to buy some adapters in order to use this cable in my ham radio setup to convert the reverse polarity plugs into standard SMA plugs, but once I had, the cable was excellent. It showed no loss at all across broad frequencies on my SWR meter, and having used it in my radio setup, it worked very well for providing very clear, clean radio signals. Great cable, just make sure you know what plugs you're getting!

Happy with the quality feel of this cable, but be sure to confirm the ends work for your intended purpose, they will not work with a hand held such as a UV5R. I used these for a custom build and I am happy with them.

As a HAM, I'm always looking for different cables, connections, etc. I use this to test out some of my handhelds. It works just as expected. For some applications, I do use adapters. So, please read the description, but if you're reading this... this is an RP-SMA Male to RP-SMA Female, MAKE SURE TO LOOK AT THE PHOTOS! If you're looking to use this for Baofeng UV-5R stuff, you WILL need adapters!
