Finally a bag that fits 2 blocks & yoga blanket & belt & yoga mat cover. The mat goes outside, not on top. This is the only bag I can find that keeps the mat secured outside!

I don't do yoga, but I thought this bag looked like it would work great as just a normal travel bag, and I was 100% correct. It's good quality, nice silky material, pretty well made, (yes fits a rolled-up yoga mat great) or towel for the beach/shower, I love the bonus shoe bag & the shoe compartment to keep everything clean. Nice handles & strap. This is a diamond in the rough & should be advertised as much more than just a yoga gym bag per it is awesome. I highly recommend!

I don't do yoga, but I do lots of stretches and floor exercises. Since I got this great bag I've started taking a yoga mat with me to put on top of one of the heavily used exercise mats at my gym. Now I sweat onto my own yoga towel that's on top of my own mat instead of onto someone else's sweat on the gym's mat that's under mine. Much more sanitary and also more comfortable, all facilitated by this cool new bag.One of the many things I like about this bag is the separate area below the main compartment for storing gym shoes AND swim or shower sandals. There's plenty of room in this lower compartment for two pairs of footwear, and they don't get your other stuff dirty. There's even a pouch included to keep a wet pair of thongs (which now called "flipflops") from getting other things wet. Very thoughtful, eh?Another feature that I frowned upon at first are the drawstrings on the pouch at each end of the bag used in lieu of zippers. It wasn't until I took the bag to the gym that I realized I could reach into a pouch several times to get something or put something into it with no zippering, and everything stays securely in the pouch. Now I see why they made them with drawstrings -- a brilliant idea!There are lots of other little details about this product that are nice too. The nylon bag material is very lightweight, but it appears to be adequately strong for the purpose intended. Make no mistake: this bag can't carry weights & dumbbells without coming apart, but it's not designed to do that. In addition, there's a couple interior pockets, one of which is zippered with see-through mesh (nice for pills, ID card, a comb, clippers, etc.). This great gym bag with a yoga or exercise mat carrier will make a fabulous present for any exercise aficionado or gym rat that you might hold dear. 5 stars

I purchased this item needing something to carry my yoga mat and gym equipment. I now use this bag religiously for everything, its almost become my weekend bag. It is roomy and has several compartments but my favorite part is the shoe compartment, it completely separates your shoes from any other item in your bag. The material is waterproof and cleans up easy. Worth every penny.

This bag is decent quality and comes with the ability to hang your Yoga mat to the side if you wish. Shoulder strap is excellent, and the material of the bag would look good in a high-end gym or anywhere.Price isn't bad but sales are always good. Shoe compartment is nicely insulated, and you shouldn't have to worry about leaks.My only grip is about the size. I wish it was a bit larger for carrying size.

Was skeptical because some of these random brands can vary in quality. The only downside I saw was one of the small, side zippers seemed to keep missing the teeth when zipped, and I could see it failing at some point down the line. That being said, I loved everything else about this bag. It came with a shoe bag/sleeve, and an optional larger padded shoulder strap, that had metal, swivel carabinier clips to attach to hooks on the tote. If you opt to not attach the shoulder strap bag does have 2 large handles on either side for carrying. One side also has adjustable straps to secure a yoga mat size item. I own an amazon basics 1" foam exercise mat and it fit perfectly. Bottom of bag also has an area about 1-2 inches tall with ventilation screens on each side; great spot for putting shoes or dirty clothes after a trip to the gym. Inside opens to a large storage area, and also had several pockets that self-closed with elastic, and a few that also had zippers. The faulty zipper I mentioned above was on the outside, middle. Honestly there's so much storage and organizing options, one possible faulty zipper wouldn't detract from the tote itself.Quality of the bag felt nice, weighted, and not overly thin. I would recommend if you're looking for a classy looking gym bag, an overnight/weekend bag or just a large tote. Definitely worth the $40 price point.
