Good for regular shred or slice, not so much for zesting or smaller items like garlic or ginger. It does protect your fingers

Too short a stroke to be taken seriously, very sharp, but comes apart so we used armored gloves incase.

This is a very good grater with quality sharpness. My only recommendation would be get the brands cut resistant gloves too so that you don’t worry about cutting yourself.

This grater is clearly well designed. I've used it for vegetables, nutmeg and cheese so far. What I love is how much quickly I can grate through things by moving back and forth, as the blades are bidirectional. The surface area is also the right size for most things you could possibly want to grate. The blades are really sharp, which should be grate (ha) for longevity

Love the tool - very easy to use but very sharp so be careful!The holder supplied is a little awkward to use but overall a great addition to your kitchen tools.

I bought it for brand. Negative reviews were mostly about sharpness of the product so I didn’t mind. It is pretty big tower grater. I tried to grate fresh ginger on it and it got stuck miserably! I spent considerable amount of water and time to clean ginger threads from it.For that price it should grate toughest fruit/vegetable. I won’t recommend this to anyone. I should have just bought one from IKEA for 6 dollars.

I ignored the other 1 star ratings and bought this anyway because Zwilling products have never let me down. DO NOT BUY!! This is the most awful product I've ever owned. After 3 separate failed attempts to use it, I simply dumped it in the trash not wanting to ever lay eyes on it again. If I could give ZERO stars I would!! What a waste of my hard earned money!!! I missed the return window - my fault.

Not sure what you might actually spiraluse with this. It’s small and seemed to me to need two pairs of hands to manage. Design wise it is pretty!
