Bought this at the end of the summer. Wanted some kinetic ropes like “Matt’s Off-road” on you tube. It’s been a long winter the kinetic rope and soft shackles have been waiting for a chance to shine. It finally happened. We were headed home and a recreation trail head is near our house. It is drifted for over a mile. The end of the winter freeze thaw has made the drifts hard enough to drive on until this day. A super glue driver was loaded heavy with his 2 wheeled pony on the bike rack. He was about 100’ feet up the road when he realized he had made a mistake. As we neared the turn off I saw him digging. He was a nerdy early 30’s late 20’s fella, the stereotypical Bozemanite that probably had a roommate with a dog named Madison, Bridger or something like that. I pulled in the tracks with the heavy Chevy and approached gingerly towards the stranded Bozemanite. Got to show him where his recovery point was located. Attached the rope drove back until it was nearly tight. Hammered the accelerator and that little super glue popped up out of it snowy parking spot. Back on hard snow we parted ways. Finally have the recovery rope and soft shackles of my dreams. If I wear them out I’m definitely buying this again.

The protective sleeve could be a little heavier but otherwise I’m happy with the shackle and for the money they do the same as the more expensive ones!

they were delivered quick and on time. look to be well made but I have not used yet, also got the snatch rings at the same time. they came with a really nice storage bag that is big enough to put the soft shackle in then put the ring in the center of the rope and pull the draw string. keeps everything together and protected

For the economical price this is a good looking shackle. It opens up without fighting it like the other brand in my bag. It is a couple of inches longer which will help wrapping around axles.
